Kochi: Craze biscuits, the nostalgic once much popular Kerala biscuit brand is coming back in style to hit the market soon. AZCCO Global is bringing back the famous Craze Biscuits brand to its former glory. Craze Biscuits from Thrissur had a significant presence in the Kerala market and counted among one of the preferred food FMCG brands.
AZCCO Global, the promoter is a large business chain spread across the GCC, Africa and Southeast Asia and the new Craze Biscuit Factory is their first manufacturing venture in India.
Craze Biscuits are currently available in 22 flavors. New products will be introduced in every three months.
The company representatives stated in a press conference in Kochi that the initiative has full support from the state government. AZCCO Global Group Chairman and Managing Director Abdul Aziz Chovancherry stated that the new venture will provide employment to more than 500 workers directly and more than 1000 people indirectly.
Craze Food Factory is set up at KSIDC Industrial Park in Kinalur, Kozhikode in 1 lakh square feet area.
Craze biscuits will be available in the Kerala market first. 80 distributors have been appointed already. It will be available in more than 10000 outlets in the first phase. The company has stated that the product will be available in all the Indian states by 2024. The company has currently invested Rs 180 crores into the project.
